The Rated R era

[The arena is quiet as the fans await the start of Friday Night Frenzy. Murmurs are heard throughout the crowd and suddenly "You think you know me" blasts as a familiar theme follows and the figure of the Rated R Superstar Edge appears on the stage in street clothes]



[ He walks out to the top of the ramp and spreads his legs. Then he throws his hands up in rock signs as a huge amount of pyro bursts behind him. A grin spreads across his face as he puts his arms down and makes his way to the ring. He then grabs a mic forcefully from an official and makes his way into the ring. He poses more and then puts his hand up to silence the crowd as he begins to speak.]

"First off I'd like to thank all the Egeheads in the audience tonight for being here for my exciting return to competition. Sure I retired from the WWE and recently was inducted into the Hall Of Fame but after all that I realised how much I miss the glory days and all the opponents and drama and gold. And I realised that I'm just not done yet. And sure I'm retired from the WWE but I thought to myself there are so many other companies out there. And after searching around I came across this place. I see a lot of talent here, I see a lot of people that I've faced in the past here, I also see a lot of new faces. But most importantly I see a company that needs a little hardcore in it. That needs a little filth and crudeness. Overall i see a company that needs a Rated R Superstar! And it just so happens that I'm in need of some things as well. I'm in need of a job. I'm in need of the thrill of competing in the ring. And as of tonight I have succeeded with both those things. But..........now that I'm all settled in there's just one more thing I'm in need of. And that's CHAMPIONSHIP GOLD. And we all know I'm damn good at getting ahold of that. Tonight I have my first match and now its just a matter of time. And XWI as of tonight things are about to get wild. You areall now all part of the Rated R era. Viewer discretion is advised."

[He grins widely as the fans go crazy with a mix of cheers and boos all around him. He closes his eyes and takes it all in as the camera fades to black]
